Review: Chainsaw Man — The Movie: Reze Arc
The hit anime series continues with a violent, hyperkinetic love story that will please fans, but confuse others.
The series is set in a world where devils roam the Earth, menacing humanity and needing to be exterminated. The story follows Denji, a 16-year-old boy whose pet, Pochita, an adorable dog with a chainsaw on its face, saves his life by becoming his new heart after they are attacked by zombies.
If you want to see a man made out of chainsaws, “Chainsaw Man” is the only game in town.
Denji can transform into a chainsaw devil by pulling a ripcord in his chest, using his chainsaw arms and face to kill other devils.
The movie is a continuation of the series, offering a story that is for fans only.
