Ajay Mitchell Leads Oklahoma City Thunder to Second Straight Double-Overtime Win
The Oklahoma City Thunder secured a 141-135 victory over the Indiana Pacers, thanks to a career-high 55 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and a strong performance from Ajay Mitchell.
Mitchell scored an NBA-high 26 points, along with four assists, three rebounds, and one steal, in 38 minutes of play. He noted,
“We all have the same mentality. Everybody has to be ready to play.”
Mitchell also shared a personal motivation for his performance, stating
“Today was my grandmother’s birthday.”
