Assassination Attempt on Ecuador's President
President Daniel Noboa of Ecuador stated that he survived three alleged assassination attempts last month.
The latest attempt included gifts of poisoned chocolate and jam, according to Noboa's statement during an interview with CNN's Fernando del Rincon.
"it is practically impossible for these substances to be together in these proportions unless they were deliberately added."
- Gifts contained "very high concentrations" of three toxic chemicals.
- Another assassination attempt occurred when crowds surrounded Noboa's car, hurling stones at it in Canar province.
