The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has paused an earlier decision, adding another delay to the president's desired deployment of National Guard troops to Portland.
"This means for now, both our TROs preventing National Guard deployment remain in effect,"
said Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield. A two-sentence order, issued by Senior Circuit Judge Sidney R. Thomas, paused the previous order from Monday, which sided with the federal administration's effort to deploy hundreds of National Guard troops to Portland.
