Fairmont City Council Gets Update on TIF District Successes
Fairmont's Tax Increment Financing District is showing positive results for residents, 10 years after its implementation in 2015.
City Planner Shae Strait delivered a presentation to the Fairmont City Council on the progress made in redeveloping the city's neighborhoods using funds from the Tax Increment Financing district.
“We’re entering a phase where doing more projects are going to grow that increment even more, and then that is going to lead to more ability for us to do additional improvement projects in our neighborhoods across the city,”
