ECG Improves Supply Reliability in Ashanti
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has undertaken a comprehensive maintenance exercise to correct defects on key transmission lines in the Ashanti region.
The exercise, carried out by the Ashanti Sub-Transmission team, aims to restore the power system to its original integrity and ensure optimum performance of transmission assets.
The goal is to minimize unplanned outages and enhance supply stability in the region by addressing abnormalities and technical weaknesses along the lines.
Managing Director of ECG, Ing. Kwame Kpekpena, tasked the team to intensify maintenance and reliability-focused interventions for uninterrupted and quality power delivery to customers.
