Demolition and Reconstruction of Burlington Central Park Building
The old building in Burlington Central Park, originally the Drury Lane Sewage Treatment Plant in the 1950s, is to be demolished and replaced.
According to City of Burlington staff, the 18-month, $1.4-million project will have "no meaningful impacts" on the park's various uses. Staff and equipment will be temporarily relocated within the park during the work.
- Existing building size: approximately 112 square metres (1,200 square feet)
- New building size: 156 square metres (1,680 square feet)
- Outdoor storage area: about 300 square metres

More details will be available after the new building's design completion in February 2026.
