‘Beyond its useful life’: This old Burlington Central Park building to be demolished, replaced

Demolition and Reconstruction of Burlington Central Park Building

The old building in Burlington Central Park, originally the Drury Lane Sewage Treatment Plant in the 1950s, is to be demolished and replaced.

According to City of Burlington staff, the 18-month, $1.4-million project will have "no meaningful impacts" on the park's various uses. Staff and equipment will be temporarily relocated within the park during the work.
