Talks May Lead to Deferral of China's Rare Earths Controls
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that his weekend trade talks with Chinese counterparts may result in China deferring its export controls on rare earths mineral exports.
"I'm also anticipating that we will get some kind of a deferral on the rare earth export controls that the Chinese had discussed,"
