In October last year, an inflatable dinghy carrying 60-70 migrants left the north-east French coast for England.
It sank shortly after leaving, and while 48 people were saved, an official toll announced three deaths. However, at least a dozen more people went missing.
Thirteen bodies were found on French beaches and in the water, but one year on, nine remain unidentified, despite family cooperation.
