US Navy Crashes in South China Sea
A US Navy helicopter and a fighter jet crashed in separate incidents over the South China Sea during routine operations.
All crew members were safely rescued, according to the Navy's Pacific Fleet.
- A MH-60R Seahawk helicopter crashed around 2:45 p.m. local time while conducting routine operations from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz.
- The incidents occurred within 30 minutes of each other.
