Sam Adams Releases 'Extreme' Beer for $240
Sam Adams has released a new, extreme beer that costs $240 and is illegal to sell in 15 states.
The beer, called Utopias 2025, has a 30% alcohol by volume and is a dark, blended beer that "blurs the line between beer and fine spirit," according to the brewery.
Utopias 2025 is meant to be served at room temperature.
The ale is sold in individually numbered ceramic vessels and is a blend of several beers aged in charred whiskey barrels, with some aging for 30 years.
