Free Trains to London for Armed Forces
South Western Railway (SWR) is offering free travel to Armed Forces personnel, veterans, and volunteers for London Poppy Day and Remembrance Sunday events.
The offer, funded by the Department for Transport, applies to anyone travelling in uniform or able to show valid military identification.
- Valid across the SWR network, including Devon’s scenic Avocet and East Devon lines.
- Volunteers collecting for the Royal British Legion’s London Poppy Day can travel for free to and from London Waterloo.
- The offer is valid on October 29, 30, and 31.
