Noosa Triathlon Headlined by Matthew Hauser
Ashleigh Gentle, a 10-time consecutive winner, will miss the Noosa Triathlon to focus on her T100 title push.
Freshly minted world champion Matthew Hauser will headline the event after winning gold in the series final in Wollongong, ending Australia's 15-year world championship drought.
- Hauser, 27, will compete in the 1.5km swim, 40km cycle, and 10km victory lap at the 42nd Noosa staging.
- Gentle, 34, has won 11 of the past 12 Noosa Triathlons, but a schedule change due to her move to middle-distance racing has forced her to miss the event.
