Mark Cuban Funds Indiana College Football Program
Mark Cuban, the former Dallas Mavericks owner, has donated to Indiana's athletics program for the first time.
Cuban, who graduated from Indiana in 1981, had previously donated to on-campus projects, but not to the athletic department.
"I gave some to sports this year for the first time ever,"
he told Richard Johnson of CBS Sports, adding that he was convinced by Curt Cignetti to support the program.
Cuban's donation is a significant development for the college football program.
