The Sixers' Undefeated Start Almost Came to an End
The Sixers appeared to have run out of energy, playing on the second night of a back-to-back against the Washington Wizards.
Despite looking gassed, they were able to stay in the game, but the Wizards, led by Alex Sarr and Kyshawn George, were shooting at a high percentage, flirting with 60% field goal percentage for most of the night.
Joel Embiid led the team with 25 points, but had reached his minutes restriction and was done for the night with seven minutes to go in the game, leaving the Sixers trailing by nine.
However, Adem Bona's performance helped turn the tide of the game, refusing to let the Sixers lose their first game of the season.
