Transparent Squid for Brain Research
Researchers at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, have successfully engineered a transparent squid using genetic engineering.
They are so strikingly see-through. It changes the way you interpret what’s going on in this animal, being able to see completely through the body
This breakthrough is good news for brain research, as the transparent squid will allow scientists to study its internal workings in detail.
