techUK has published its submission to HM Treasury for the Autumn 2025 Budget. A members-only webinar will be held on 28 November, featuring expert analysis of the Budget's impact on the tech sector and wider economy.
In its response, developed with member collaboration, techUK emphasizes the tech sector's importance to the government's growth mission. The digital economy accounts for around 13% of the total economy, adding £286 billion in annual GVA and employing over 2.9 million people.
The current government has made concrete plans to grow the economy and tech ecosystem, including the UK-US Tech Prosperity Deal, Industrial Strategy, and public sector digitization plans.
