A Sudbury contractor, David Murray, is still entangled in a lengthy legal battle over more than 40 counts of alleged fraud, despite a judge's decision to stay the charges due to violations of his Charter rights.
Murray spent October 31 in court hearing further submissions on the charges, which are currently meaningless due to an appeal. The case involves allegations of defrauding clients of $800,000.
