Windows 10 Remains Popular Despite End of Support
Windows 10 is still widely used, even after Microsoft ended its free support on October 14.
The operating system remains a significant presence in the market, with devices running Windows 10 still being used extensively.
According to Statcounter, the share of devices on Windows 10 is declining slowly, with 41.71% in October, while Windows 11 usage is gradually increasing, with 55.18% in October.
Microsoft is hoping for a mass move to Windows 11, its flagship OS.
To continue receiving security updates, users must sign up for Extended Security Updates (ESU) or use a supported version of the operating system, such as the LTSC editions.
