Defence Investments on the Rise
PFA, Denmark's largest commercial pension provider, has seen a significant increase in its defence investments since the start of the Russia/Ukraine war.
According to Rasmus Bessing, director of responsible investments, the assets have grown to DKK7.7bn (€1bn) from DKK793bn before February 2022, representing an 872% increase.
When the world develops, PFA does the same, and that’s why we’re now investing much more in defence than we have before.
The growth is largely driven by European defence investments, which have surged by 1,650% over the past three and a half years.
