Republican Bellevue Councilman Loses Re-election Bid
Bellevue City Councilman Joseph Burkhart, a Republican facing 22 criminal charges, has lost his bid for re-election.
According to unofficial results, Burkhart received 12.3% of the vote, finishing last in a four-way race for three at-large seats.

- Adam Morrison: 28.1%
- Charles Daniel: 25.8%
- Joseph Burkhart: 12.3%
Burkhart’s defeat comes after his September 19 arrest, when he was charged in connection with a domestic disturbance.
He was charged with 22 criminal charges including assault and burglary.
