Flinders Port Holdings (FPH) introduces a unique float at the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant in Adelaide, emphasizing maritime trade's crucial role in delivering festive cheer to South Australians.
FPH’s entry focuses on showcasing how maritime trade contributes to South Australia’s holiday joy. The pageant begins at 9:30am on Saturday, 8 November, marked by the sound of the golden whistle. Since its inception in 1933, the Christmas Pageant has signaled the start of the festive season, drawing large crowds to the city streets.
FPH shared on social media: “We are thrilled to finally unveil our FPH float.”
"Our float celebrates the vital role maritime trade plays in bringing festive joy, and presents, to South Australians each year."
"Our float is particularly special—it's the first custom-built float to join the pageant in five years, proudly featuring a replica of one of our Pilot boats, alongside a crew of straddle carriers, containers, and FPH elves ticking off Christmas gifts."
"The blue fabric ruffle below adds the perfect finishing touch, creating the illusion of the Pilot Boat gliding through water."
This week, FPH officially launched the float at Outer Harbor, with some FPH elves joining the celebration.
