Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee have officially summoned Andrew Mountbatten Windsor to testify before Congress regarding his connections to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. The committee believes Andrew holds valuable information about individuals linked to Epstein's criminal activities.
"The Oversight Committee will investigate allegations of abuse by Mountbatten Windsor, and will seek information on Epstein's operations, network, and associates based on the men's longstanding and well-documented friendship."
Robert Garcia, the committee's highest-ranking Democrat, emphasized the urgency of accountability:
"Rich and powerful men have evaded justice for far too long. Now, former Prince Andrew has the opportunity to come clean and provide justice for the survivors."
Last week, Buckingham Palace announced that Andrew, previously the Duke of York and 65 years old, will henceforth be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. The Palace described the decision to impose formal censures as "deemed necessary," highlighting increasing criticism over his involvement with Epstein, including Andrew's false claims of severing contact with the financier.
Congress demands Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's testimony about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein amidst ongoing scrutiny and serious allegations, as Buckingham Palace enforces new restrictions on his public status.
