Hayley Williams Drops New Track
Hayley Williams has released a fresh single titled “Showbiz,” marking her return with a romantic indie pop vibe. The track coincides with the long-awaited physical release of her album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
New Sound and Production
Featuring crisp drums, shimmer-filled synths, and a vocoder-driven chorus, “Showbiz” captures a smooth, syncopated groove reminiscent of Phoenix. The song was produced by Williams alongside her Ego Death collaborator Daniel James.
Williams sampled Phoenix’s 2017 song “Fior di Latte” on the recent track “Love Me Different.”
Hints of a Tour
While no official tour has been announced yet, Williams seems to be teasing one. On the same website used for her surprise Ego Death release, fans discovered a photo in a “trash” folder showing what appears to be a world tour itinerary.
- North American cities: Atlanta, Toronto, Nashville, Chicago, Austin, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, and others.
- European stops are also hinted at, including several UK dates.
