Local sailor Dave Shaw demonstrated impressive speed. According to reports from Gordon Upton and Jamie Jochiem, with only two years competing in the class, Shaw is preparing for significant achievements.

Teo di Battista secured third place in the Classic category, sailing the Exploder Ad3 2016 version instead of the Scheurer model.
