Starting 25 March 2026, Jetstar will introduce direct flights from Sunshine Coast to Bali (Denpasar) three times a week using their Airbus A321LR aircraft, offering over 70,000 affordable seats annually.
This new route is a significant development for the region, as Jetstar becomes the first airline to operate direct flights on this path. The flight duration is approximately six hours, allowing travelers to bypass Brisbane and fly straight to Bali’s beaches and cultural attractions, saving both time and money.
The Sunshine Coast to Bali flight will be Jetstar’s tenth direct route from Australia to Bali and the fourth route out of Queensland. This follows the successful launch of direct flights from the Gold Coast earlier in 2025.
The new Bali service is scheduled to connect with Jetstar flights from Bali (Denpasar) to Singapore, enabling passengers to depart from Sunshine Coast in the morning and arrive in Singapore by the evening.
“Travellers can now skip the trip to Brisbane and fly straight to Bali’s beaches, culture, and tropical charm - saving time, money, and the road trip.”
The expanded network offers Sunshine Coast travelers new affordable opportunities for international travel with convenient connections throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
