Actress Cheryl Hines, who has a new memoir, recently discussed her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in an interview with Meghan McCain on "The View".
Last year, when asked if he would be willing to become Donald Trump's running mate, Kennedy replied,
"I don’t think that my marriage would survive it", to which Hines added,
"I think he’s right".
Despite this, Kennedy later endorsed Trump, and their marriage appears to have survived. Hines is currently promoting her memoir, Unscripted, and has been defending her husband's actions, including his spreading of health misinformation.
In her interview on The View, Hines defended her husband's qualifications to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, despite his controversial views.
