The Ottawa Senators are back on the road for the third time in four games to start the 2025-26 season, following a tough loss in their first home game. They will face the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center.
Despite the Sabres' 14-year playoff drought, they have had success against the Senators. However, the Senators hope for a change in luck with the new season.
In their previous game, the Senators fell 4-1 to the Nashville Predators in their home opener. Ridly Greig scored a powerplay goal to make it a one-goal game, but Nashville sealed the win with two empty-net goals.
Puck drop for the game against the Sabres is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Senators hope the luck can change with it being a new season.
