Pitt County has initiated a comprehensive county-wide strategic planning process to set long-term priorities and guide policy, budget, and service delivery decisions for the next five years and beyond.
Community members can participate by providing input through the county's online engagement platform, Social Pinpoint.
“Strategic planning is a key process that ensures we are effectively using resources, prioritizing services, and preparing for changing community needs,”
said Benji Holloman, Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. This initiative aims to create a clear roadmap to align county departments, employees, and community partners around shared goals and a common vision for the future.
The process will help define the county's services, target audience, and delivery methods to benefit residents both now and in the future.
