Kazakh man tried to break into “Piter FM” live broadcast - Foreign Ministry investigating

A 52-year-old Kazakh citizen was detained in Saint Petersburg, Russia, after attempting to break into a live broadcast at the "Piter FM" radio station.

According to Russian media, the man posed as a courier to gain entry into the office, where he disrupted staff and shouted pacifist slogans.

"We will look into this matter. The relevant departments and divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will handle it,"

said Kazakhstan's Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Isetov.

The man was detained by police and charged with minor hooliganism, with an administrative report filed at a local police station. No criminal case has been opened, but it is under consideration.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan is investigating the incident.
