The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has assured the family of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, of full police support for her funeral and related arrangements.
The IGP visited the bereaved family in Accra to convey condolences on behalf of the Ghana Police Service. The Director of Police Public Affairs, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, described the former First Lady as a national figure whose work had influenced the police service, particularly in advancing women's leadership.
Her work in women empowerment and gender mainstreaming has had a direct impact on the service.
