BARSTOOL SPORTS' PORTNOY PURCHASES KEYS PROPERTY FOR RECORD-SETTING $27.7 MILLION
A luxurious bayfront property on Islamorada's Lower Matecumbe is now owned by Dave "El Presidente" Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports and "One Bite Pizza Reviews."
Portnoy closed on the 1.65 acre estate, featuring two residences totaling 10,228 square feet, for $27.75 million in early October.
The sale, listed by Leslie Leopold and Cheri Tindall of Ocean Sotheby's International Realty, is the highest recorded in the Florida Keys outside of Ocean Reef community in North Key Largo.
Dave "El Presidente" Portnoy is the man behind the popular Barstool Sports digital media company and the famous "One Bite Pizza Reviews."
The property's purchase sets a new record for the area.
