Semitruck Driver Pleads Not Guilty in Deadly Crash
A semitruck driver, Jashanpreet Singh, has pleaded not guilty to multiple criminal counts after a deadly chain-reaction crash on the 10 Freeway in Ontario.
Singh obtained his commercial driver's license through both state and federal processes, which have since changed on a federal level as of September 26.
- Gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated
- Causing bodily injury or death
- Driving under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs
Singh pleaded not guilty through his public defender with an interpreter by his side.
