Microsoft 365 App Update
The Microsoft 365 app for Android and iOS has undergone significant changes, shifting its focus towards a Copilot experience with AI image generation capabilities.
Previously, the app allowed users to edit documents, view recent files, and access various Office features. However, the latest update has altered the app's functionality, particularly on iOS, where users can now only preview files and interact with Copilot.
Microsoft 365 app for mobile, which was one of my favourite apps, is now just a Copilot app that wants you to generate AI images, while hiding the useful Office features.
- On Android, users can still edit documents.
- On iOS, the app only allows file preview and Copilot interaction, requiring standalone apps for editing Office files.
The Microsoft 365 app has evolved over the years, from its initial name "Office" to its current title, Microsoft 365 Copilot.
