Incident at Festival
A frightening incident occurred at a festival when two girls were injured after being thrown from a Ferris wheel on Saturday.
Investigators reported that the cart the girls were riding in became stuck, causing them to fall approximately 15 feet to the ground at the Harvest Festival in New Roads.
One of the girls was airlifted to a hospital in Baton Rouge, but both their conditions were unknown.
