Data Theft Hits Behavioral Health Network in 3 States

A Florida-based firm, Oglethorpe Inc., operating in-patient mental health and addiction recovery treatment facilities in three states, is notifying over 92,000 patients of a potential data breach.

The incident, discovered in June, may have compromised personal and sensitive health information. Oglethorpe Inc. reported the data security incident to the Maine attorney general.

Oglethorpe Inc. provides management solutions for health centers, wellness clinics, and hospitals specializing in psychiatric services, drug and alcohol detoxification, rehabilitation, eating disorder therapy, and behavioral health counseling.
