In the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown have long shared a tense onscreen bond. Now, reports suggest that their off-screen relationship has also become complicated by serious accusations.
According to The Mail on Sunday, Harbour, aged 50, allegedly faced claims that he bullied and harassed his co-star Millie Bobby Brown. The actor, who portrays former police chief Jim Hopper and caregiver to Brown's character Eleven, was reportedly investigated internally after the British actress filed a complaint about his conduct.
“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”
The outcome of the inquiry remains unknown, though sources have clarified that the allegations did not involve any sexual accusations.
Harbour is also confronting separate claims of infidelity amid his estrangement from singer-songwriter Lily Allen. Despite this, Allen, whose latest album purportedly criticizes Harbour for his alleged affairs, is said to have remained by his side during what insiders called a ‘brutal’ period.
“Lily supported him throughout it all. It was a brutal time.”
Netflix has declined to comment on any internal investigation.
Reports claim David Harbour faced internal investigation over harassment allegations by Millie Bobby Brown, while wife Lily Allen stood by him through the controversy.
