Lincoln Senior Ends Her Tennis Career on Top
Eloise Geraets won her first state championship.
In Sioux Falls, S.D., Eloise Geraets of Lincoln finished her tennis career with the first flight singles championship.
Tom Krueger, Lincoln Tennis Coach says, “She knows what the key to success is and she knows she came up short 2 years in a row, so this is what I need to do.”
Eloise Geraets put on a dominant performance against her good friend Nora Krajewski of Yankton, whom she’d defeated during the regular season but lost in the #1 flight singles championship match each of the last 2 years.
Eloise Geraets, Lincoln Senior says, “I mean my goal was to stay loose and just play my game. Stay aggressive and know I just had to be patient. She has a really good lob so I couldn’t come up too much. But I had to stay patient and work my way up slowly.
