A prolific thief from the Isle of Wight, Timothy Young, has been jailed for breaching a suspended sentence just two days after receiving it.
Young, 57, appeared before the IW Magistrates' Court, admitting to six new theft-related charges and failing to attend a drugs assessment.
Young was already subject to a 12-month community order, imposed on April 30 for 16 theft offences, according to prosecutor Lauren McConnell.
As a result, Young has been banned from dozens of shops on the Island until 2030.
