Microsoft Admits File Explorer Preview Pane Issue
Microsoft has confirmed that the File Explorer Preview pane will not work by default for internet files in Windows 11 25H2 and 24H2.
According to Microsoft, this decision was made due to security reasons. However, users can still preview locally created files.
File Explorer Panes
File Explorer has two default panes: Details and Preview. The Details pane provides file information, such as author and creation time, while the Preview pane allows users to quickly view file content without opening it.
