Winter Weather in Western New York
Western New York has experienced active winter weather over the last two months.
The month of January was nearly three degrees colder than normal and was the snowiest month for Rochester in nearly two years, with over 34 inches of snow at the airport.
February is following a similar pattern, with every day this month having accumulating snow so far.
A weak cold front will cross the area on Tuesday night, bringing a few snow showers and a coating to 1 inch of snow to areas around Rochester.
The weather is expected to become more interesting on Wednesday afternoon.
