STATE CHAMPS! Buford Wins 6A Crown
Buford routed East Coweta for the 6A crown, following a 10-0 win on Friday with a 16-1, three-inning victory on Saturday.
The Lady Wolves scored four in the first, five in the second, and seven in the third, invoking the Mercy Rule. This win marked Buford's third title in the last four years, culminating in a rare unbeaten season (36-0).
"It was a special season with a (perfect record) against a really, really good schedule,"
Buford coach Trent Adams said, praising the team's four seniors for their leadership on and off the field.
