The 2025 series of I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! promises a star-studded lineup, including Jack Osbourne, who will appear with his family’s support just months after the passing of his father, Ozzy Osbourne.
After months of hints and speculation, the highly anticipated cast has been unveiled ahead of the show’s premiere on November 16. The group features a mix of personalities ranging from reality TV stars to musicians, all preparing to head Down Under for this year's edition.
Former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, known for playing Whitney Dean from 2009 to 2024, will leave Albert Square behind for the challenges of the jungle. Producers have long expressed interest in adding her to the cast. A source explained:
“Jungle bosses have been keen to sign up the soap queen for ages. Shona is Walford royalty and hugely popular with TV viewers, she’s got bags of charisma and producers think she’ll be a great campmate.”
The source added that fans have rarely seen her outside of EastEnders, so the show offers a chance for Shona to reveal a new side of her personality.
Recently single after ending her engagement to musician David Bracken, Shona is embracing new challenges.
“They are on amicable terms, but have ended their romantic relationship. There are no hard feelings, they realised they wanted different things and are better off as friends. Shona is now focusing on her music and career.”
This year’s I’m a Celebrity will showcase well-known celebrities like Jack Osbourne and Shona McGarty, highlighting fresh personal journeys and new sides of their lives in the jungle.
