Deadline for Renew NC Grants Approaches
The deadline to apply for Renew NC grants is December 31. Renew NC is a state program that offers free assistance with home repair and rebuilding for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
“Too many of our neighbors are still living in unsafe or temporary housing after Helene,” said Julia Horrocks, managing attorney at Pisgah Legal Services.
The Renew NC Single-Family Housing Program aims to provide help for homeowners and have a long-term impact on communities by providing safe and stable housing, paying local contractors, and generating property taxes.
